In 2006: With the terrible war inflicted on the Lebanon last July the Give a Child a Toy in Beirut was very quick to respond to the basic needs of the refugees by providing 30,154 children with food, clothing and medicines, at a cost of $56,000 through various charitable organizations such as Libami, Ahlouna, Voix de la Femme Libanaise, Kamel Yousef Jaber Centre, Dar El Amal, and Wahat Al Farah, and much more.

Further funds to treat sick children on peritoneal mobile dialysis machines; $15,000

In 2003: Eye and Ear programme running 1988-2003 at a cost of; $820,000

Laboratory equipment was provided to the Children Cancer Centre which is affiliated with the St. Jude’s Hospital in Memphis located at the American University Hospital premises; $24,000

Dental clinic was established at Kfar Hatta in the South of Lebanon; $15,000


In 2002: Eye clinic at the Ajyalouna centre in Mar Elias, Beirut; $18,000


In 2001: Five mobile Peritoneal Dialysis machines were purchased to treat sick children at home; $35,000


In 2000: Incubators were provided to the Kobe Hospital in Tripoli and to the Nabatiyeh Hospital in the South of Lebanon; $16,000

A Paediatric / Neo-Natal Ventilator and a Phototherapy Apparatus were provided to the Notre Dame de la Paix Hospital in Kobeyat in North Lebanon; $16,000


In 1999: A computer program was provided to the Furn Al Chuback library centre for under privileged children; $8,000


In 1998: A Paediatric Haemodialysis unit, the first of its kind in Lebanon, was provided to the Hotel Dieu de France, along with three incubators and their necessary equipment to their neo-natal unit; $185,000


In 1997: A Paediatric Intensive care unit with all its relevant life saving equipment was opened at the American University Hospital in Beirut; $250,000


In 1995: Speech Therapy programme during 1996-2003 at a cost of; $40,800


In 1988: Launch of the Eye and Ear programme in our centre.


In 1987-1994: Ten library centres were established over seven years to provide educational and recreational activities for deprived children across the Lebanon; $355,000


In 1985: Gifts, necessary schooling and hygienic kits were provided to over 16,000 children across Lebanon over a two year period.
